2024 AACR annual meeting

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2024 kicks off this week, and many of our researchers will present impactful work that advances cancer research. With more than 35 abstracts selected for the meeting, the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center will be well-represented during the April 5-10 meeting in San Diego. The annual meeting brings together the best minds in cancer research from around the globe.

More than 40 cancer center members are authors of abstracts for this year’s meeting. Attaya Suvannasankha, MD, is among the authors on a Clinical Trials Plenary Session, “Linvoseltamab, a B-cell maturation antigen-targeted T-cell-engaging bispecific antibody, induces deep and durable responses in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma including difficult-to-treat subgroups.” These findings will be presented on April 7.

The AACR Annual Meeting program covers the latest discoveries across the spectrum of cancer research — from population science and prevention; to cancer biology, translational, and clinical studies; to survivorship and advocacy — and highlights the work of the best in research and medicine from institutions all over the world.
