Training2006 Summer Research Program Highlights
The 2006 Indiana University Cancer Center Summer Research Program ended their program on August 4th by presenting their research projects at a poster session attended by faculty, students and family.
Eighteen students participated in the program, representing five different Indianapolis high schools and five different universities around the country, from as nearby as Purdue University and as far away as Yale University. Participating students were matched with an appropriate mentor in one of the four IU Cancer Center research programs. Research projects represented a mix of basic, behavioral and clinical topics, ranging from exploring “Novel PET Breast Cancer Imaging Agents ” to researching “TeleCare Management of Pain and Depression in Cancer.”
