Efroymson Family Fund
Efroymson Family Fund is a donor-advised fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation and continues a legacy of charitable commitment by the Efroymson family in central Indiana.
The Efroymson Family Fund was established in 1998 by Dan and Lori Efroymson to promote the viability of Indianapolis and to date has awarded more than $70 million in grants in central Indiana and beyond. Lori Efroymson-Aguilera, chair of the Efroymson Family Fund, serves as an important voice on the IU Simon Cancer Center’s Development Board. She has also established two endowed chair positions to honor the memories of her late husband, Dan, and daughter, Rachel, who both lost their lives much too soon to cancer. The Efroymson Family Fund has established both the Daniel and Lori Efroymson Chair in Oncology and the Rachel Cecile Efroymson Chair to support the research mission of the cancer center.
