Miles for Myeloma 2011Events

More details about the 2011 event will be available in August. Please check back!

In the interim, please note other events set to benefit Miles for Myeloma 2011:

  • Annual Miles for Myeloma Yard Sale - Hosted each year in Plainfield by Betty Hayes, mother of patient Kevin Hunt, this event generates about $1,000 annually for research. This year's sale will be in September, and the official dates will be posted as soon as they are finalized. If you have items you'd like to donate to the yard sale, please contact m4m@iupui.edu.

  • Mountains for Myeloma - Six-year myeloma survivor Kevin Hunt is not your average myeloma patient. He's only 36 years old, and he has a lot of living left to do. To show his gratitude for the team at IU and to support research for a cure, Kevin has made it his goal to partner with the Miles for Myeloma mission by climbing a mountain each year and raising $1 for every foot he climbs. In 2010, he climbed Mount Rainier and raised $10,000. In August 2011, he plans to climb Mount Shasta. To make a gift to support Kevin, please be sure to mark your gift to Miles for Myeloma in honor of Kevin Hunt.
