ITRAC Receives Funding from Walther Cancer Institute
The Indiana University Cancer Center’s Translational Research Acceleration Collaboration (ITRAC) received a $100,000 grant from the Walther Cancer Institute. ITRAC focuses on milestone-driven translational research projects and accelerating the translation of discoveries in basic research to treatment in the clinic. It is a “roadmap to success” initiative for developing new, better and innovative treatments for cancer detection, treatment and cure. The funding will specifically support ITRAC project management as well as pilot projects that have been successfully mapped and evaluated according to ITRAC policy and criteria and approved by the ITRAC governance board.
