Clinical Research Office Receives Award in Collaborative Excellence for Clinical Research Database
During the third Onsemble conference held at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, VA, the Clinical Research Office of the Indiana University Cancer Center was presented an award for Collaborative Excellence by the Onsemble Community (ONCORE), the cancer center’s clinical research database. The award recognized outstanding contributions to the Electronic Protocol Review & Monitoring System (ePRMS) Collaborative Initiative.In attendance were 111 people representing 21 cancer centers, the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Association of American Cancer Institutes (AACI), and Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC). Individual awards for their work on the project were presented to Erin Pennington, the CRO manager and Oncore administrator; Ashlye Baker, the SRC coordinator; Dr. James Croop, the SRC Chairman; and Kerry Bridges, the CRO administrator.
IU Cancer Center was the lead site for the development of the new module to facilitate the activities of a Scientific Review Committee while using on-line, electronic versions of documents and eliminating the need for paper copies. For more information about Oncore, visit www.onsemble.net.
