What to expect
- You may experience pain in various parts of your body, such as your stomach, back, joints or affected limb, as a result of treatment (both chemotherapy and surgery).
- You may also experience pain from the osteosarcoma itself.
How to cope
- Call you doctor and he or she may prescribe painkillers.
- Try relaxing and doing something to take your mind off of your pain. For example, listen to music, play a game, watch a movie, etc.
