What to expect
Chemotherapy can lower your body's ability to make red blood cells, which can cause anemia; this can cause excessive
tiredness, pale skin color, shortness of breath, irritability, decreased attention span, headaches and dizziness.
How to cope
Let your doctor know if you are weak, tired, dizzy or short of breath. Your doctor might need to check your blood count and give you a blood transfusion.
Get extra sleep and rest.
