TitleA Cohort Study to Evaluate Genetic Predictors of Aromatase Inhibitor Musculoskeletal Symptoms (AIMSS)
DescriptionThis pilot clinical trial studies anastrozole in treating aromatase inhibitor musculoskeletal symptoms in female patients with stage I-III breast cancer. Anastrozole may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
Key EligibilityIn order to be eligible to take part in this trial, patients must meet the following criteria:

  • Patients must be post-menopausal
  • Patients must have estrogen and/or progesterone receptor positive histologically confirmed stage I-III adenocarcinoma of the breast
