Research Interests
I am interested in pediatric neuron-oncology and rare tumors specifically retinoblastoma. My past research has been in translational research and preclinical models of retinoblastoma. My career and research goals are to develop novel agents in collaboration with experimental and developmental therapeutics to move new agents as well as new approaches in the applications of pediatric brain tumors and solid tumors. I would like to work primarily in the realm of designing ealry phase (I and II) clinical trials to this effect. During my fellowship, I have worked closely in projects with pediatric neuron-oncology, developmental neuron-biology, pharmaceutical sciences, and chemical biology in a collaborative effort to bring efforts from basic science to clinical applications. Having recently joined the faculty in pediatric hematolology/oncology at IU, I hope to continue my research in developing better therapy for the treatament of pediatric brain tumors, retinoblastoma, and other solid tumors.
