Jackson Lee Racing Sponsorship

Accelerating cancer research

The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is again a proud sponsor for race car driver Jackson Lee.

In 2024, Jackson will primarily compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge for Czabok-Simpson Motorsport in a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. His schedule includes the Michelin Pilot Challenge race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the IMSA Battle on the Bricks event on Sept. 21.

As with the previous two sponsorships, this year’s sponsorship is tied to the cancer center’s  public education campaign about early detection and prevention.

Jackson and his father, NBC Sports reporter and local radio personality Kevin Lee, will also co-host the annual “Burger Bash delivered by ClusterTruck” on Monday, May 20. The fundraiser, featuring guest appearances by Indy 500 drivers and broadcasters and a live broadcast of “Trackside” on 107.5 The Fan, will benefit the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and kick off race week in Indianapolis leading up to the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Racing is in Indiana’s DNA, which gives us the unique opportunity to point out to Hoosiers the many parallels between race teams and cancer research and care teams. Both involve precision, determination, and science.
