Hoffmann to coordinate IU Simon Cancer Center's CompleteLife program
INDIANAPOLIS -- (Jan. 25, 2008) -- Mary Lynn Hoffmann has been named program coordinator of the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center’s CompleteLife program.
Hoffmann will oversee a program that provides music and art expression as well as psycho-social counseling and complementary therapies in support of cancer patients and their families. The various services support the emotional, social, spiritual, and physical needs of adult patients.
Hoffmann most recently was with Indianapolis-based Clarity Communications, which she established in 2002. Prior to that, she worked in the Indiana House of Representatives in 2005, 2003 and 1997-99, and she was director of communications for IndyGo from 1999 to 2002.
She was also director of development/public affairs with the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, director of public affairs for the Greater Cincinnati Bicentennial Commission, and assistant press secretary for former Indianapolis Mayor Bill Hudnut (1979-82).
